Maintenance Controls Technician
1st shift-6am-2pm, Mon-Friday plus OT
$44.28/hour
As a Maintenance Controls Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment. You will support and enable preventative maintenance at the plant.
You are expected to learn advanced maintenance skills and complete related tasks as needed. You will lead maintenance projects and train other technicians.

Your responsibilities:
• Perform maintenance tasks per work orders assigned.
• Understand how to work safely and speak up when you do not.
• Continue to learn new skills and grow in your maintenance expertise.
• Train other Maintenance Technicians.
* Troubleshoot and install Electrical components (I/O Cards, VFDs, Motors, Sensors)
* Troubleshoot 110v, 480v and 24v circuits and controls, with specific focus on electrical, power, controls, and information systems
*Maintain and Troubleshoot mill processing and conveying equipment including but not limited to screw conveyors, drag conveyors, blowers, airlocks, air compressors and filters.
Essential skills and experience:
• High School diploma or GED.
• 5 or more years of experience in Maintenance in manufacturing environment.
• 4 + years working with automation and control systems in industrial manufacturing.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed to support ongoing operations.
• Demonstrate proficiency in advanced-level technical competencies, for example, PLCs, VFDs, and systems troubleshooting (110v, 480v and 24v)
* Ability to troubleshoot and install all aspects of electrical components. (I/O cards, VFDs, Sensors, New MCC Bucket builds, ETC)
• Ability to work with and lead team of Maintenance Technicians.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, including ability to problem solve.
• Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP.
Good to have:
• CMRT certification
• Degree/technical certification in electrical engineering, automation, or control systems.
• Other maintenance-related certifications
Team members must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required and the use of a respirator (including N-95 dust mask) requires a proper seal for adequate protection.
