1st Shift Production Associate Blender Utility offering $5,000 First Year Sign-On Bonus
Your role:
The blender utility is involved in all the activities in the Blending Department. The primary responsibilities sanitation and blender relief. You will receive training as needed to perform the operational duties, which provides great opportunities for advancement.
The schedule for this position will be 3 (12hours) on and 3 off. This is an daytime position with hours of 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are committed to providing an adequate work and life balance for this position and will not require mandatory overtime on scheduled days off. You do, however, have the opportunity to volunteer for overtime.

Your responsibilities:
· Specialized cleaning tasks such as bin cleaning, working sifters, filter sock changes, etc.
· Timely and efficient movement of flour to support the packers, bulk trucks, and rail cars.
· Consistent communication with Millers on product availability.
· Coordinate tasks of Bulk Loader and Bulk Utility personnel to drive efficiency.
· Comply with GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Food Defense, Sanitation and Regulatory mandates.
· Communicate effectively with scheduler, truck drivers, department supervisors, and teammates.
· Any other duties as assigned, including but not limited to attending safety meetings.

Essential skills and experience:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Has demonstrated the ability to work within a diverse group, communicate effectively, motivate others, foster teamwork, and exhibit self-control and awareness.
· Basic computer skills.
· Excellent Communication Skills - written and verbal.
· Ability to prioritize, coordinate and accomplish multiple tasks.
Good to have:
· Experience in a production setting.
· Experience working in a team environment.
· Assesses own strengths and weaknesses, pursues training and development opportunities, strives to continuously build knowledge and skills, and shares expertise with others.
· Experience with OSHA, food safety rules, and regulations.
Physical requirements and working conditions (with or without reasonable accommodation):
· Willing and able to work in a plant environment that at times, may be dusty, include temperature extremes, include indoor and outdoor work, involve climbing, heavy lifting, and other forms of physical exertion.
· Willing and able to work with wheat products, dust, i.e. no wheat /gluten sensitivity, intolerance and/or allergies.
