Your role:
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will provide leadership and direction to the plant maintenance department, which is responsible for repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment. You will identify opportunities and make recommendations to streamline day-to-day work processes. You will also implement new work procedures to support the change process.

Your Responsibilities:
Supervise maintenance team, including mechanics, planner, and lubrication technician
Supervise repairs, maintain, and install machines, tools, and equipment in manufacturing operations
Eliminate all causes of failure and ensure full useful life of equipment
Manage the maintenance budget; assist with planning estimates for annual and longer-term capital budgets
Supervise inspection of operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational standards
Review production, quality control, and maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities
Manage accuracy and maintenance of MRO inventory
Maintain and prioritize planned maintenance schedule in conjunction with other departments
Establish criteria for assessing the quality and safety of work performed by team members and contractors
Supervise the completion of work through review of reliability reports, site inspections and conferences with operations and vendors
Investigate the condition of buildings, equipment and grounds, and recommend improvements to ensure that needs are met
Evaluate maintenance department personnel skills to help develop training programs
Manage work order backlog
Maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, quality specifications, safety standards, and sanitation practices
Essential Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree with 2-5 years or High School diploma/GED with 6-10 years of relevant experience
Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance process, activities, and maintenance management system
Demonstrated knowledge of applicable Predictive and Preventative Maintenance technologies
Understanding of operating context of site assets / process systems
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally
Demonstrated knowledge of maintenance safety practices
Demonstrated knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers
Demonstrated knowledge and experience with electrical troubleshooting
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Computer Maintenance Management System
Experience with capital expenditures and projects
Good to have:
Knowledge of food safety requirements and HACCP
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions (With or without reasonable accommodation):
Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as is required by the operating areas (i.e. safety glasses, protective footwear, hearing protection and, at times, a respirator)
Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to work a machine paced continuous process that operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with conditions which include:
Heat/cold temperatures (inclement weather)
Indoor/outdoor environment
Dusty environment
Noisy environment
Frequent moving/vibration/ or other motion of equipment/processes
Elevated places, to include stairs/ladders
Ability to perform work at a computer and other administrative/managerial tasks
Other Considerations:
Willing to work weekends, holidays, 7-day weeks, and opposing shifts, when needed
