DECATUR MILL

Built in Alabama in 1941, our Decatur facility is a pneumatic mill and one of the most automated mills in the United States. In fact, this was one of the first mills to take advantage of river transportation of grain.

WHAT DECATUR MAKES:

Here, we make many different blends of flour that get used for lots of different finished goods, including bread, buns, pizza, cookies, cereal, snack foods and many other tasty items. The Decatur mill is able to produce 1.6 million lbs of flour every day.

WHERE DOES DECATUR GET ITS WHEAT?

The Decatur community mill helps bring top-quality flour to the south-eastern region of the United States. Decatur receives winter, spring, red and white wheat from many geographies, including fields in Alabama, Tennessee, Kansas, Minnesota, North Dakota and Oklahoma.
